The east side culture crawl is next weekend and we’re meeting at Luppolo Brewing company on Friday November 15th at 5:30pm. Come and join us to learn about co-housing and meet our group. We’ll be leaving the brewery around 7pm to do a bit of crawling.
We’ll be hosting a full day workshop with Sheila Hoffman from Capitol Hill Urban Cohousing (CHUC) on November from 9:30 am – 4:30pm.
Located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighbourhood, CHUC is an inter-generational urban community committed to sustainable living. During the morning session Sheila Hoffman and Spencer Beard will guide us through some of their decision making processes, do’s and don’ts, successes and pitfalls. This will be a great opportunity for existing OUV members to learn and plan our community, and anyone interested in cohousing to learn from their experience.
The morning workshop will be followed by a short lunch and a brain storming session.
If you are interested in joining us for the day or part of the day, please contact us.
