We're having regular socials, info sessions and planning meetings to build our membership. Our goal is 15-30 families. We're also making sure our committed families have opportunities to create strong bonds.
Finding a site has to occur parallel to community building. We will need to work with a visionary developer in a relationship that offers a win-win situation for all involved. So far, we've met with 8 developers and an architect.

Our "cohousing lite" model has never been done in a tower before. We worked with UBC architect students to find ways to design a tower concept for cohousing and provided ideas for low-rise options as well in April 2016.
We're researching how other communities addressed this issue and working with VanCity to get data on our ideal neighbourhoods. We held our first affordability workshop in March 2016.
